Operation Christmas Child (OCC)
Samaritan's Purse sends gift-filled Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes to children in need around the world together with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Donation Drop-Off
Items can be dropped off at GRACE POINT church each Sunday with Cindy Weber. Our OCC Mission Coordinator will make sure the items are stored until our shoebox packing party in November. If you need assistance identifying Cindy to drop off items, ask one of our GRACE POINT Greeters.
Suggested Items by Month
Don't wait until November to buy items for your OCC shoeboxes. Starting now will allow you to find things on sale and possibly pack more boxes! Here is a suggested list of items and when to collect them.
MARCH: socks, bandanas, gloves, hats, sunglasses
APRIL: Easter clearance toys, baseballs, soccer/kickballs (must be deflated and come with an pump to inflate), beachballs
MAY: wash cloths, hand towels, soft bristle toothbrushes, dental floss
JUNE: toys, Matchbox/Hot Wheels, dolls, jump rope
JULY: small games, card games, jacks, flip-flops/sandals, shoes
AUGUST: coloring books, crayons, notebooks, sketch pads, colored pencils, scissors, erasers, solar calculators, pencils, sharpeners
SEPTEMBER: bandaids, sewing kits, tool kits, jewelry making kits (beads, elastic string, colored floss), fishing kits
OCTOBER: combs, hairbrushes, hair items (barrettes, headbands, hair clips, etc.)
NOVEMBER: stuffed animals, small toys

What NOT to Include
Do not pack liquids (e.g. toothpaste, nail polish, shampoos, soaps, etc.).
Do not pack food items or candy.
Do not pack battery operated items or toys.
Do not pack aerosol cans.

Do not pack anything "war related" (e.g. toy guns, knives, military figures, etc.).
