GU 603: Museum of the Bible
Join us this Summer for our next "GU Road Trip." GU Road Trips are designed to be an opportunity for our church to deepen our faith and at the same time deepen our relationships with one another. Our Summer 2023 destination is the Museum of the Bible located in Washington, DC.
WHO: Everyone is welcome!
WHAT: GU 603: Museum of the Bible (Road Trip)
WHEN: Monday, June 26th at 10am
WHERE: Museum of the Bible, 400 4th Street SW, Washington, DC 20024
WHY: Grow
COST: Varies. Each person is responsible for purchasing their own ticket(s), hotel room, meals, and transportation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Transportation: Washington DC is about a 6 hour drive from Mooresville.
Tickets: Purchase your tickets ahead of time here: https://tickets.museumofthebible.org/visit/get-tickets
Hotel: Hotel can vary greatly for each family. While hotels are within walking distance, you can reduce the cost by riding the subway. We will update this page with hotel options in the near future.
Meals: We will coordinate one meal as a large group while we are in DC.
Pastor Chris' Itinerary: Pastor Chris and Cheryl plan on having lunch after church at Kickback Jack's and then hitting the road for Washington DC after lunch. We will meet everyone at the Museum of the Bible at 10am on Monday. We plan on having dinner as a group on Monday evening. The dinner will be an opportunity to talk about the tour and share your observations. We will check out of our hotel and return on Tuesday, June 27th.
